I take 2 full rest days a week and I coach for a living.
For years I thought that made me a fraud, so I trained through it and got slower.
Recovery is not the reward for training. It is the half of training where you actually adapt.
If your program has no rest days written into it, it is not a program. Mine are. DM me the word REST.
Use when your best advice sounds like a mistake. Never confess something a client paid you to fix.
Hook 02
09The Number That Hurts
Context line: sleep is the cheap win nobody buys
6 hours of sleep costs you roughly a third of your session quality the next day.
You are paying full price for the gym and taking two thirds of the result home.
Nobody wants this to be the answer. It is still the answer, and it is free.
The coaching includes the boring stuff, because the boring stuff is where the change is.
Use when the cost of waiting can be counted. Never invent the number.
Hook 09
01The Callout
Context line: not for people chasing soreness
If you judge a session by how sore you are the next day, we are going to argue.
Soreness tells you something was unfamiliar. It does not tell you it worked.
Progress is the weight on the bar going up over 12 weeks, and it is measurable without a single stair you cannot walk down.
That is what my sheets track. 3 spots this month.
Use when you know exactly who you are not for. Never aimed at a whole group of people.
Hook 01
Each post above names the Hook it came from, so the formula is reusable after you have changed the numbers to your own.
03Where these usually go wrong
The common miss is posting a quote card. It reads as filler, and the Vault retired that formula on 24 Aug 2026 for exactly that reason.
The Vault is the numbered index these formulas come from. Every Hook carries a use and a never, and every change is dated.
